John is responsible for the Taupo operations and oversees the plant’s feedstock, pellet production and finished product logistics. He has an engineering background with 15 years of operational management experience in the timber processing industry.
John joined Nature’s Flame at the beginning of the Taupo plant development in 2007. John was previously with Lakesawn Lumber and Winstone Pulp International and in the RNZAF as an aircraft engineer.
A dedicated Taupo resident, Paul lives with his partner Gaylene and her twins, Aaron and Brooke. He tried commuting out of Taupo for a number of years but is glad to be spending less time on the road. For fun he enjoys playing cricket (although he says it's mostly a chance to talk some rubbish with the guys!), and on a Saturday night you can find him dancing 'til dawn at a Ceroc party.
Sue is a born and bred Taupo girl, and she loves it! Spending time with family and friends is very important to her, even when they are spread all over NZ and Australia. Sue is married to Chris and has two adult sons. She loves reading, doing puzzles and is a force to be reckoned with on the golf course!
Another of our 'imports', Emma is originally from Manchester in the UK, and in her words "moved to the right side of the world" in 2009. She is married with two young (and very boisterous!) children and two cats. On the occasional nights when she isn't home with the family she can be found letting her hair down with the girls in Taupo!
