Nature’s Flame wood pellets meet strict, international manufacturing standards, including:

  1. The Initiative of Wood Pellet Buyers Industrial Wood Pellets I2 Industrial Specification
  2. The DINplus class A1 wood pellets certification for residential pellets


Independent quality accreditation

Nature’s Flame is assessed annually by the Bioenergy Association of NZ to maintain accreditation under the organisation’s Wood Fuel Supply Accreditation Scheme. This independent assessment gives our customers the assurance that Nature’s Flame consistently delivers high quality wood pellets.


Ethically, sustainably harvested

FSC Logo

Nature’s Flame wood pellets are made from renewable pine wood sourced from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) accredited forestry plantations.


We’ve also gained the FSC’s Chain of Custody Certification which means we source our wood from trees that are harvested and then replaced with another, creating a carbon-neutral circle where the carbon omitted by the timber process is absorbed by the tree that takes its place.

Certified as an input for organics

Nature’s Flame wood pellets and its ash are certified as an input for organics by BioGro New Zealand Ltd and can be used as fertiliser.
